Gold Coast City is the last city before the State of New South Wales. The Gold Coast has spectacular beaches and is a major tourist destination.

We sometimes have massive nets hanging over construction sites. Is that what this is, or is this permanent and meant to be?
From Gold Coast Daily Photo - This building is finished. This building (as well as others nearby) has a Japanese feel to it as I presume the builders wanted to bring a bit of their country to Australia.
The gold reminds me of the Golden Pavilion in Kyoto.

This looks like a giant parfume bottle yet to be covered by glass :)
Going to Gold Coast in March next year to see it.
