This is the "Port Frederick", 49.5 meters long and is a Suction Dredger. It uses pumps to suck up sand to keep the canals clear.

Playful dog

I was visiting the beach with my nephews as suddenly this little dog came bounding along infront of us.

A new world through MACRO

This was taken using the Macro function of my camera at the Mt Tamborine Botanical gardens.

If you click on the picture and look closely at the black insect near the yellow pollen, you can see the flowers' pollen it has collected on its rear legs.

Big Foot Park

This is Macintosh Park which you pass going into the Gold Coast from Brisbane.

Even back in my childhood days, these giant feet have always been there. We gave it the nickname back then of big foot park.

About 100 meters to the right is where the starting grid is set up for the Gold Coast Indy car race that happens in October every year.

A Beautiful View

The view from the observation deck of Q1, the world's tallest residential tower. I really like this photo with the beaches just going on forever.
