What a ride

Being close to the oceans and having many canals, the Gold Coast allows many water activities to be enjoyed.
The "Jet" boats that you can ride in have two powerful jets that allow the boat to leap over waves and spin in a full circle.
I went on one of the other boats and it was a wild ride. To only see the wave as you go up it and then feel the boat leave the water was unforgettable.

Joy Flights

There are several places you can take a helicopter flight to see the Gold Coast.
This one has just taken off from the end of the pier at Marina Mirage. You can also take a flight from Sea World and Dream World.
When I took my flight from Sea World, I was lucky enough to be on board with friends of the pilot. I got my flight extended and got to see places others don't, like an outdoor movie set.
The pilot is "on call" from a person who lives on a large boat out at sea. He calls her up and she goes out and picks him up, which means the boat is big enough for the helicopter to land on.

Old Building

I remember eating here (a pizza) when it was in its prime and it suprised me when I saw it as I haven't been in the area for a while . I think it was an Italian restaurant.
The word ciao (pronounced somewhat like chow, and occasionally misspelled as such) is an informal verbal salutation or greeting, meaning "goodbye" or (more rarely) "hello".

Bayview yacht squadron

This is the entrace to a yacht harbour at bayview. There are 4 apartment buildings directly behind the yacht marina so if you stay there, you are very close to your boat. In minutes, you can be off and sailing.
